Brinqa Appoints Information Security Veteran Bob Gleason as Director of Sales for the Eastern and Federal Regions

Former Ernst & Young Director to Spearhead Sales and Business Development for Pioneering Software Company

Brinqa announced that information security industry veteran Bob Gleason has joined the company as director of sales for the eastern and federal regions. Mr. Gleason has over 25 years of experience in information technology, specializing in sales and business development. Prior to joining Brinqa, he spent eight years as a director with Ernst & Young's Information Technology Advisory Services practice, focusing on the financial services industry. In his new position, Mr. Gleason will focus on creating new business and revenue opportunities for Brinqa.

Mr. Gleason's early career experience includes an eight-year tenure with Sun Microsystems, where he served as global account manager for accounts such as Time Warner and Merrill Lynch. Prior to Sun, he spent six years at Lockheed Martin as a technical sales manager. Mr. Gleason recently received the 2009 Distinguished Service Award from the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FSISAC) for his support and leadership as a board advisor during the period 2005 through 2009. He is known as a leader and supporter for multiple organizations in the information security industry, such as the United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force, NY Chapter of the ISSA, SIFMA, and ISACA. Bob is a graduate of Rutgers University where he majored in Business Management and Computer Science.
