Dan DeCloss
Dan DeCloss is the founder of PlexTrac, now part of Brinqa. He brings more than 15 years of cybersecurity experience to Brinqa, spanning the Department of Defense, private-sector consulting, and enterprise security leadership.
He started his career in the DoD before moving into consulting, where he worked as a Principal Consultant in Penetration Testing at Veracode. He went on to serve as a Principal Security Engineer at Mayo Clinic and a Senior Security Advisor at Anthem, working directly with practitioners on the front lines of enterprise security. As Director of Cybersecurity at Scentsy, Dan built the company's security program from the ground up into a best-in-class practice.
Dan holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School with an emphasis in Information Security, along with the OSCP and CISSP certifications.
