This Privacy Notice describes the manner in which Brinqa, Inc. handles personal information collected from individuals (“you” or “users”) by Brinqa through its website or in connection with delivery of Brinqa Services to its customers. The term “personal information” within this Privacy Notice refers to information relating to an identifiable natural person or consumer.

Our website includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Brinqa. Please refer to the Privacy Notices of any linked third-party website to learn how the operators of those websites collect and use information that is gathered through those websites. The protection and security of your personal data is of paramount importance to Brinqa. The use of your personal data at Brinqa is in strict compliance with data protection regulations in order to make you feel secure with us in matters of data protection.

It is important to us that you are always aware of which personal data is collected during your visit to our website and during the use of our products and services, as well as how we use said data afterwards. This Privacy Notice applies to the information that we obtain through your use and access of “Brinqa Services” via an electronic device, or when you otherwise interact with Brinqa. “Brinqa Services” include our:

  2. SaaS Products
  3. On-Prem Products

By registering for or using Brinqa Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure, and other uses described in this Privacy Notice.

The information that we collect is used to fulfill our contract and under the direction of our customers, and where Brinqa often does not have any direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data we process. Should a Brinqa customer provide Personal Information about their employees for access to Brinqa products and services, usually the System Administrator, the customer must have the required authority and consent for the collection and use of Personal Information. If you are an employee of one of our customers and no longer wish for us to process your information, please contact your employer.

If you are providing information, including Personal Information about someone else, you must have the authority to act for them and to consent to the collection and use of their Personal Information as described in this Privacy Notice.

Personal Data is any data that allows for your personal identification, i.e., your name, address, phone number, or email address (“Personal Data”).  Personal Data is only collected, processed, or used by us if permitted by law or if you have given your prior consent.

The collection, processing, or use of your Personal Data is used in particular for the following purposes:

a. Account and Profile Information

We collect information about you and your company as you register for an account, create or modify your profile, and use, access, or interact with Brinqa Services. Information we may collect includes:

  • Contact information such as names, email addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers
  • Billing information such as credit card details and billing address
  • Profile information such as username, profile photo, and job title
  • Preferences information such as notification and marketing preferences

You may provide this information directly when you enter it in Brinqa Services. In some cases, another user, such as a system administrator, may create an account on your behalf and may provide your information, including Personal Information most commonly when your company requests that you use our products.

b. Contact Request

We may use your Personal Data to process your request to get in contact with you.

c. Online and Offline Advertising

We may also use your information to contact you about our own, and third-parties’ goods and services that may be of interest to you

d. Disclosure

We may disclose personal information that we collect or that you provide as described in this Privacy Notice:

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third-parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

e. Right to Object to Advertising

You can object at any time to the use of your Personal Data for advertising or market research purposes. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. f. Online Applications

When you apply online for a job opening, training opportunity, or internship with us, your information is used for the sole purpose of processing your application. As soon as your data is no longer needed it is deleted or destroyed, as the case may be.

g. Sale of Personal Information

Brinqa, Inc. does not, and will not sell your personal information.

This notice applies to California residents and outlines the categories of personal information that we collect and use to provide, develop, and improve the products and services we offer to our customers. This notice supplements our Terms and Conditions, which contain additional information.

b. Right to Know and Right to Deletion (California Residents)

You have the right to request that Brinqa disclose what Personal Information is collected, used, and disclosed up to two times in a 12-month period, free of charge.  We will respond within 45-days of receiving your request, unless we request an extension. In the event that a 45-day extension is required, we will notify you of the extension within the initial 45-day period.

You further have the right to request that Brinqa delete your Personal Information collected or maintained by Brinqa. The information that we collect is under the direction of our customers, and where Brinqa often does not have any direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data we process. Should a Brinqa customer provide Personal Information about their employees for access to Brinqa products and services, usually the System Administrator, the customer must have the required authority and consent for the collection and use of Personal Information. In order to comply with a request for information or deletion and verify the identity of the requester, Brinqa may require the requester to verify up to 3 pieces of Personal Information maintained by Brinqa. 4. Cookies and Web Tracking

a. Cookies

“Cookies” are used in some areas to make our website user-friendly and to customize it to fit your needs in an optimal way.  “Cookies” are small text files stored locally on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory. We use cookies to improve and customize Brinqa Services and your experience, and to count visits and understand which areas and features of the Websites and SaaS Products are most popular.

b. Web Tracking

When using our website, we also use cookies to allow for the analysis of your use of the website (web tracking). The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website (search engines used, search terms used, languages used, visitor origins by country, browser and plugins used, the referrer, the length of stay, entry and exit pages, cancellation rates, and IP address) is anonymous and used solely for statistical purposes.  This information is used separately from Personal Data. The two sets of data are not merged; therefore, they are not indicative of Personal Data and one cannot generate any such conclusions therefrom.

c. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. (“Google”) provided web analysis service. Google Analytics uses “cookies” – small text files stored on your hard drive to enable an analysis of your use of the website.  Cookies-generated information concerning your use of the website is transmitted to, and stored on one of Google’s servers in the U.S.

However, by activation of the IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be abbreviated beforehand by Google within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and abbreviated there.

On behalf of this website’s operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling website activity reports and providing the website’s operator with further website and Internet related services. The abbreviated IP address transmitted in the context of Google Analytics by your browser is not associated with any other data held by Google.

You may prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser’s software settings; in this case however, we must point out that you might not be able to access the full extent of all of the website’s features. Our data processing and security measures are improved continuously to fall in line with technological developments.
